Spotlight: Eternia
Spotlight on– ETERNIA
By: True Daley
Born in the capital city of Ottawa, Juno-nominated Eternia now claims New York city as her home base. Her stomping grounds include Austalia, Germany, Mexico, and of course Toronto – where she established her foothold in the underground scene. Known for her infectious smile, rugged delivery, and killer live show – this rapper has shown no signs of slowing down since she dropped her first mix tape in 2005.
Being Canadian, female and white are probably the first things most people notice when they first meet Eternia. However, through the years she has shown and proved that her skills abound. Not to mention, reputable ‘co-signs’ haven’t hurt her credibility either

To date, she’s shared the stage with icons such as KRS ONE, Common, Pharoahe Monch, MC Lyte, Jeru the Damaja, Bahamadia, Roxanne Shante, Prince Paul, D-12, Saukrates, and Jully Black.
Her incessant drive to keep recording, promoting, and performing, while being at the helm of her own ‘My Favourite Rapper Wears A Skirt’ campaign, has established her as one of the hardest-working indie rappers in the country.
Her long-awaited album ‘At Last’ is a collaborative effort with homegrown producer MoSS and features guest appearances by: Rah Digga, Lady of Rage, Jean Grae, Joell Ortiz, Termanology, Reef the Lost Cauze, Tona, Maestro Fresh Wes, Lil Jaz and more.
Albums:
‘Where I Been – The Collection’ – 2005
‘It’s Called Life’ – 2005
‘Where I’m At’ – The Set Up’ – 2007
‘At Last’ (with MoSS) – 2010-08-02
